Impact measurement and evaluation

Open Impact supports evidence building and impact framework design. It helps partners organise social, economic, environmental, cultural and governance data into a coherent baseline, identifying needs, gaps, assets, target groups and investment opportunities. Starting from this evidence, Open Impact develops the project’s Theory of Change, outcome map, indicators, proxies, data collection tools and monitoring templates. This makes the project more strategic, reduces the risk of designing actions based on assumptions, and translates complex innovation processes into measurable and manageable pathways of change. 

Open Impact leads impact monitoring and evaluation. It designs and implements qualitative and quantitative assessment tools, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, stakeholder engagement methods, SROI analysis and dashboard-based monitoring. This supports adaptive management during the project and produces credible evidence on social, cultural, environmental, economic and governance outcomes.
