Andy Yen

Andy Yen is the Founder and CEO of Proton, one of Europe’s fastest growing technology companies, headquartered in Geneva. Proton offers the world’s first privacy-by-default ecosystem, including encrypted email, calendar, file storage, VPN, and password management. Today, over 100 million individuals and more than 100,000 businesses worldwide rely on Proton’s services. The company employs over 500 people globally.

Prior to founding Proton, Andy Yen worked as a particle physicist at CERN. He holds a PhD in physics from Harvard University, along with degrees in physics and economics from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech).
