Chamber of commerce and industry of Štajerska

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Štajerska is the largest regional chamber of commerce and industry in Slovenia.

It is an independent, voluntary association of companies and entrepreneurs from the Styria / Podravje region — created to support and represent their common economic interests.

Mission & Purpose
ŠGZ serves as a hub for business networking, cooperation, and development. Its goal is to foster growth, competitiveness and internationalization of its member companies — both within Slovenia and abroad.

It helps members navigate business challenges, access expertise and resources, and seize new opportunities in domestic and foreign markets.

Services & Support Offered
Among the primary services that ŠGZ offers to its members are:

·       Rapid business consulting — expert support and one-on-one advice covering all key business areas, free for members.

• “Enter Štajerska” — support for investors and companies who wish to establish or expand businesses in the Štajerska / Podravje region (help with permits, registration, networking, legal services, etc.).

• Project-office services — helping members to prepare, manage and implement projects, including support in finding partners, drafting documentation, managing EU / national funding applications, and reporting.

• Access to events, trainings, seminars, and networking opportunities — helping companies stay up to date and connect with other businesses.

• Office and conference space rental — for events, meetings, presentations, seminars and other business-related gatherings.

• Assistance with document legalization for international trade, promotion and marketing support, and helping companies increase visibility.

• Role & Impact
  As a voluntary association of enterprises and entrepreneurs, ŠGZ represents the collective economic interests of its members — advocating for favorable business conditions at regional and national level. It plays a key role in enabling regional companies — from small to large — to grow, compete and internationalize.
