Optimising maritime space: Multi-use and co-location
Ocean energy can be paired with a variety of other activities such as offshore wind energy production and offshore aquaculture, which can effectively increase efficiency, prevent competition for space between sectors, and facilitate environmental protection. Through the examples provided by various projects from the South China sea to the French Atlantic coast, this session will discuss how to improve resource utilisation and coordination, thereby promoting complementarity and increased stability.
