EIDEL has been designing and delivering advanced products and control systems for the industrial, military, and aerospace sectors since 1966. Our expertise spans both hardware architecture and software development, covering standard solutions as well as fully customized designs. A cornerstone of our approach is the seamless integration of customer requirements with cutting-edge technology to create reference-quality systems.

EIDEL’s long-term strategy is built around three core business areas, one of which is defense. We are firmly committed to strengthening and expanding our defense activities, both in the short and long term. 

Our product portfolio ranges from complete high-performance test systems, including both airborne and ground-based equipment, to fully operational systems. Our telemetry capabilities focus on data acquisition, processing, distribution, storage, and visualization. These systems are highly configurable, enabling end users to tailor them to complex test environments. While most telemetry applications are military, our solutions also serve industrial and aerospace domains. 

In the defense sector, our mission is to deliver remote control and management systems for major communication infrastructures, primarily for the Norwegian Armed Forces, but also for international clients. Secure communication, closely tied to cryptography and tactical data links, is a key pillar of our defense offering. Flagship products include the RCDS®, Radio Control System (RCS) and the E5354 ECU (EDDAS Crypto Unit). 

In the space domain, EIDEL is engaged in the study, design, and delivery of scientific instruments and data control systems. We support both flight hardware and ground support equipment, with a strong emphasis on security and telemetry. Our products have been deployed in space missions, both onboard and as part of ground infrastructure, equipping us with the capabilities to meet the rigorous demands of space programs.
