The province of Antwerp is a regional authority in the north of Belgium with 1.800.000 inhabitants and 68 municipalities. One of our autonomous departments is Kamp C, the centre for sustainability in construction.
Kamp C helps municipalities, researchers, companies and builders develop and scale up new solutions for sustainable construction. Kamp C also has a demonstration zone (3D printed building, circular building,...) and an education task about sustainable construction.
Kamp C focuses on 6 domains in construction: water, energy, materials, space, biodiversity and inclusiveness. They are active in many EU projects on these topics. They are also involved in the EHHUR project (Eyes, Hearts, Hands Urban Revolution) which was approved in one of the previous Horizon NEB calls.
