Asker municipality

Asker is a new municipality, after a merger between three municipalities in 2020. Asker utilized the SDGs as an overall and integral framework when structuring and organizing the new municipality. Asker is a pilot city the Circular Cities and Region’s Initiative (CCRI), and a partner in Horizon Europe project CARE. In its efforts to achieve sustainable local communities, Asker is experienced and politically dedicated to using co-creation and citizen participation. Asker is pursuing collaborations to develop our municipality as beautiful, sustainable and inclusive. Circularity is a key strategy.
