BUSINESS-01: Adaptable & Disassemblable Buildings: circular-design pilots and toolkits
About
Yildiz Technical University brings together a cluster that blends architectural research, municipal redevelopment sites and deep-tech incubation. Assets include: digital-production lines (CNC, CLT, bio-composites), a façade mock-up tower for seismic testing, and policy links to advance circular-economy standards. We will lead the work-package on pilot implementation, retrofitting or erecting modular units whose elements can be recovered and reused while supplying BIM-based material passports and business-model mentoring for SMEs. We are explicitly looking for an experienced organisation to act as IA coordinator. Ideal partners also include modular-element manufacturers, demolition-waste operators, insurers and investors able to validate economic, environmental and social returns across at least two additional climates.
