NEB-2025-REGEN-01: Regenerative Urban Solutions: Integrating Nature-Based Approaches for Healthier and More Biodiverse Cities

With expertise in nature-based solutions, post-implementation governance, and integrated assessments of ecosystem services, NILU can contribute to the following tasks in the proposal:

• Demonstrate nature-based interventions to improve environmental quality, reduce urban heat, and support biodiversity.

• Evaluate the socio-environmental co-benefits of such interventions using an integrated assessment framework tailored to urban regeneration.

• Establish partnerships with local authorities and community stakeholders to co-create demonstration sites that link ecological restoration with well-being and climate adaptation.
