About

COMCY – Centre for Competence Development Cyprus – is a non-profit organisation with a strong track record in training, lifelong learning, and capacity building at national and European levels. We are currently exploring opportunities to contribute to Horizon Europe projects aligned with the New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative, particularly those focusing on space and education's social dimension.

Our interest lies in collaborating with actors who seek to integrate inclusion and sustainability into education, training, and community development. We are open to discussing how our experience delivering high-impact training and supporting vulnerable or underrepresented groups could support the NEB vision in practice.

What We Offer:

  • Extensive experience in capacity building and skills development, gained through participation in more than 60 EU-funded projects (Erasmus+, ESF, INTERREG, etc.)

  • Deep understanding of target group needs, including youth, migrants, educators, unemployed individuals, and disadvantaged communities

  • Expertise in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programmes that address green skills, digital transformation, social inclusion, and community resilience

  • Ability to support stakeholder engagement, dissemination, and sustainability efforts, leveraging our broad national and international networks

  • Competence in implementing training initiatives that bridge formal and non-formal learning with real community impact

  • Experience in acting as Quality Assurance Lead and Dissemination Leader, ensuring high standards of implementation, result exploitation, and visibility at national and EU levels

What We Are Looking For:

  • Exchanges with organisations developing project ideas that promote inclusive and sustainable learning spaces

  • Opportunities to contribute training expertise to initiatives involving community-led spatial design or educational interventions

  • Early-stage discussions with consortia in the fields of education, urban development, or cultural transformation under NEB priorities
