Project cooperation for NEB-aligned Horizon Europe call – Bottom-up place-based social entrepreneurship (HORIZON-CL2-2025-HERITAGE-02-05)
About
We are building a transnational consortium for the Horizon Europe NEB Facility call (Business-02: Bottom-up social entrepreneurship). Our project will develop culture- and biodiversity-based business models to support inclusive, sustainable rural/ rurban regeneration.
Through a network of local hubs, the project will:
-
activate social and circular economy initiatives rooted in local culture and nature,
-
support artists, social innovators and eco-entrepreneurs,
-
foster biodiversity stewardship as an economic and social driver,
-
develop replicable, community-owned business models aligned with NEB values.
SILK operates at three levels:
-
Local hubs: spaces for community innovation, arts, nature-based solutions
-
Catalysts: regional facilitators scaling inclusive impact
-
EU Hub: a central node for strategic alignment, policy influence, and funding access
We seek partners including municipalities, NGOs, cultural and creative organisations, environmental actors, business support agencies and researchers interested in linking biodiversity, cultural heritage, and entrepreneurship for a more beautiful, sustainable and inclusive Europe.
