REDCHEM is a company established in 2022 to develop an industrial chemical recycling project for plastic waste using pyrolysis technology. The project is being developed based on the experience of existing installations in Poland and across Europe, as well as cooperation with the Industrial Chemistry Institute in Warsaw and a few industry partners with more than 15 years of experience in plastic waste pyrolysis such as ECOHYDROCARBON Sp. z o.o.

The company is developing a model plant project in Sieradz with “ready-to-build” status, all required administrative permits, and secured industrial property with infrastructure. The planned installation will process up to 41,000 tonnes per year of mixed and hard-to-recycle plastic waste, producing circular hydrocarbon fractions for the petrochemical and refining industries in line with RED III requirements.

REDCHEM is looking for partners to develop a project converting plastic waste into upgraded naphtha oil for steam crackers, in accordance with the EU's PPWR directive, and diesel fuel, in accordance with the RED III directive.
