Infrared Photonics Research Group at Ł-IMiF conducts R&D in compound semiconductor technologies (III-V materials), covering molecular beam epitaxy, fabrication of semiconductor heterostructures, and development of optoelectronic devices including quantum cascade lasers and detectors. Activities span the full semiconductor value chain, from materials growth and device design to prototyping and photonic integrated circuits for sensing, communication, and dual-use applications.
