About
The national network of educational institutions for pedagogical research and innovation in Europe, “Polo Europeo della Conoscenza” [European Pole of Knowledge or Europole] – led by Istituto Comprensivo di Bosco Chiesanuova – is an Italian public body, a non-profit network of about 4000 educational institutions at the national level. It has almost 30 years of experience in European projects about good practices and research for innovation in various fields: education (from ECEC to VET), social inclusion, health, cultural heritage, job inclusion, aware use of technology and digitalisation, active citizenship, lifelong learning, inclusion of minorities, overcoming of disabling barriers, etc. Europole has participated in different Horizon projects as task and WP leader for piloting, communication, dissemination, advocacy, thanks to its direct contact with end users / target groups and policy makers. Europole, thanks to its broad national extension, can rely on the cooperation of professionals, university professors, researchers, policy makers, pedagogues, psychologists, technicians, etc. Europole has its internal research centre on neuro-psycho-pedagogy and an internal agency for digital safety in education (Public agency for digital safety in education – PADSE). The network promotes free training courses (synchronous and asynchronous) on various subjects for teachers, educators, school directors, practitioners in education, young people and adult learners, reaching thousands of participants at the national level. Europole organises an International conference with hundreds of participants.
