About

Founded in 1999 in Lyon, Arty Farty is a non-profit association under the French Law of 1901, with a European focus and a commitment to supporting young people, independent cultures and citizenship in Europe.

For 26 years, Arty Farty has been committed with conviction and enthusiasm to supporting emerging scenes, young people and diversity; it focuses on the renewal of forms, sounds, narratives and aesthetics, and showcases and gives a voice to everything that pulsates and breathes across the globe.

Established to support this vital artistic scene, notably through the Nuits sonores festival, but also through venues such as Le Sucre, Heat and Hôtel71, Arty Farty has, as it has grown, acquired skills and expertise in the creation and management of cultural venues, event production, project support, cultural engineering, training and the management of European projects.
