Save the Children is the world’s leading independent organisation for children. Our vision is a world in which every child attains the right to survival, protection, development, and participation. Our mission is to inspire breakthroughs in the way the world treats children and to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives. We promote change from the ground up, engaging children, families, and communities, while working with local organisations, governments, and international institutions to put children’s rights firmly on the political agenda. We hold leaders accountable for their commitments and advocate for strong policies and systems that protect all children. In Brussels, we work to ensure that children's rights remain high in the EU Agenda. We work in close partnership with local and national governments, EU institutions, fellow civil society organisations and the UN to ensure the most vulnerable children are protected and supported across the continent.
