MIRADOR- CSA

About

The MIRADOR CSA addresses the HORIZON-CL2-2027-01-DEMOCRACY-01 call by tackling a critical gap between existing knowledge on radicalisation, hate speech and polarisation, and its effective translation into operational practices across Europe. Rather than producing new research, MIRADOR will aggregate and exploit results from existing EU-funded projects to develop an intersectional and psychology-informed framework of hate dynamics, accounting for differentiated mechanisms of exposure, reception and engagement across social groups (gender, race, class, and age). Building on this foundation, the project will design and test concrete, user-oriented advisory packages for key actors (law enforcement, judicial systems, education, civil society and policymakers), enabling more effective, context-sensitive and non-uniform responses to hate and radicalisation. Through structured collaboration with European institutions and existing EU initiatives (e.g. EU Knowledge Hub on Prevention of Radicalisation), MIRADOR will support the uptake and institutional integration of these solutions, contributing to more inclusive, evidence-based and adaptive democratic resilience strategies across Europe.
