About
We are a multidisciplinary team of individuals who share the common goal of strengthening health systems to ensure that every individual has access to quality healthcare. This goal is reflected in all of our teaching and research activities.
Global health is about social justice and human rights in the context of health; about how health, illness, and disability are socially patterned and how many of the world's health problems are not bounded by borders, but shared, and best tackled by collaborative innovation and cooperative action.
In partnership with our many collaborators, spanning academia, civil society, governmental, United Nations agencies, and governments across more than 40 countries, our interdisciplinary team of researchers, educators, and administrators is committed to conducting research and delivering teaching programmes that impact policy and practice, towards scaling-up universal health coverage, and ensuring healthy lives and promoting well being for all at all ages (SDG 3).
