Love for Livres
About
Love for Livres is a French organisation dedicated to transforming lives through the science of reading. We develop and deliver evidence-based bibliotherapy programmes for companies, healthcare institutions, public authorities, libraries, and individuals — grounded in cognitive neuroscience and validated through empirical research.
With 150+ interventions delivered across 7 countries and an average satisfaction score of 9/10, our core offerings include professional training in soft skills and bibliotherapy, a practitioner certification programme (Love for Livres Academy), thematic eco-designed libraries, and applied research on the emotional and cognitive effects of reading.
At the European level, we lead Libraries of Emotions for Good (LOE for Good), a project co-funded by the Creative Europe programme, which deploys bibliotherapy across 8 countries in partnership with European and Tunisian universities and libraries. We also led an Erasmus + project called Bookpower and designed to support women victims of violence.
We are now seeking to deepen our research impact through Horizon Europe, with a focus on mental health, psychosocial skills development, and inclusive societies. We welcome collaborations with academic institutions, public health organisations, NGOs, and cultural bodies to co-design and scale reading-based interventions supported by rigorous scientific evidence.
