About
FSP was created in 2013, to follow up the Laboratory of Excellence (LabEx) Patrima and the Equipment of Excellence (EquipEx) Patrimex, funded by the Investments for the Future Programm (PIA) of the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. FSP mission is to foster an interdisciplinary and interinstitutional approach to Heritage Science between experimental sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, and data science, involving partners from universities, CNRS and the Ministry of Culture.
FSP main research lines:
•Advancing knowledge of cultural heritage
•Preserving cultural heritage
•Transmitting scientific knowledge to Heritage professionals and to the public
FSP aim to become a major contributor to Heritage Science both nationally and internationally. Internationally, FSP is a major contributor to the JPI Cultural Heritage and the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage. It hosts the National Node of the E-RIHS ERIC, coordinated the ARCHE project preparing the upcoming RCH Partenrship, and coordinates the preparation and implementation of this Partnership
