CyberShield, cybersecurity awareness and digital resilience for vulnerable groups
President & CyberSecurity Researcher at CyberShield
Bucharest, Romania
About
CyberShield is a non-profit organization focused on cybersecurity education, digital safety, and prevention of online fraud, with active programs targeting vulnerable groups such as elderly individuals, low digital literacy users, and exposed online communities.
We are looking to join a Horizon Europe Cluster 2 consortium addressing topics related to digital resilience, protection of fundamental rights, and societal impact of emerging technologies.
Our contribution focuses on three main pillars:
-
Cybersecurity education and behavioral change
Design and delivery of structured training programs, including online courses, awareness campaigns, and applied learning formats. Existing initiatives include the CyberSkill platform, offering free cybersecurity courses and incident reporting mechanisms. -
AI-assisted risk detection and prevention
Development and integration of AI components for identifying scam patterns, phishing attempts, social engineering tactics, and emerging fraud vectors. Focus on practical deployment in real-world user environments. -
Community-level protection frameworks
Building scalable models for NGOs and public institutions to prevent, detect, and respond to cyber threats affecting citizens. Includes collaboration protocols with national authorities such as Directoratul Național de Securitate Cibernetică.
We are interested in partnerships with:
-
Research institutions working on AI, behavioral science, or digital trust
-
NGOs and public bodies focused on social protection, education, or human rights
-
Technology providers developing tools for detection, monitoring, or training
-
Consortia coordinators preparing proposals under Cluster 2 topics
