About
We are a central public authority responsible for coordinating and developing lifelong learning and adult education policies at the national level in Türkiye. Acting as an umbrella organisation, we oversee and collaborate with more than 1,000 affiliated institutions, including public education centres and vocational training providers across the country.
Our work focuses on promoting inclusive, accessible, and high-quality learning opportunities for all citizens, with particular attention to disadvantaged groups. We actively develop and implement policies and programmes in key areas such as digital transformation, green transition, micro-credentialing, vocational education and training (VET), cultural and social learning, and skills development aligned with labour market needs.
We have extensive experience in managing and implementing projects funded by the European Union, including IPA programmes, as well as other international and national funding schemes. We are currently involved in multiple ongoing projects and have a strong institutional capacity for project development, implementation, and impact generation.
We are interested in establishing strong international partnerships, particularly within Horizon Europe (Cluster 2) as well as other EU and international funding programmes. We aim to collaborate on innovative projects that support adult learning systems, enhance digital and green skills, foster social inclusion, and contribute to sustainable and resilient societies.
With our extensive institutional network and policy-making capacity, we can contribute as a reliable and experienced partner by providing large-scale implementation environments, piloting innovative approaches, and ensuring impact at national level. We are open to both coordination and partnership roles in collaborative projects.
