About
Contribution to provenance research methodology and cataloguing standards for cultural goods. Systematic inventories function as the baseline against which illicit removal can be detected, the evidentiary anchor for restitution claims before national authorities and international instances such as UNESCO and UNIDROIT, and the precondition for registering items in databases such as ICOM Red Lists and INTERPOL’s Works of Art database.
Improvement of data quality and interoperability between cultural heritage databases, particularly regarding Latin American collections.
Development of training materials and workshops on heritage documentation, provenance analysis, and identification of cultural goods of Brazilian and Latin American origin.
Case studies on the identification, documentation, and protection of indigenous cultural goods at risk.
Development of collaboratively produced documentaries on archival work processes and didactic materials elaborated in partnership with indigenous communities.
