Concept Mapping & deliberative consultation infrastructure for government transformation research

Research Infrastructure Partner at Recherche Polygon Inc.

Montreal, Canada

About

Polygon operates structured consultation infrastructure for research involving diverse stakeholder groups — civil servants, citizens, and decision-makers across institutional contexts.

Our toolkit includes Concept Mapping (CM) for participatory sense-making at scale, AI-enhanced Delphi (DLP) for structured expert consensus, and Fuzzy Cognitive Maps (FCM) for modelling how groups perceive systemic relationships and change.

UNIS POUR L'ÉCOLE (OPES — Observatoire pour l'éducation et la santé des enfants) deployed this infrastructure with 4,000+ stakeholders across the Quebec education system. The protocol collected 23,000 strategies; natural language processing was integrated to structure outputs into 6 distinct conceptual maps across participant groups.

Polygon handles the full operational layer — protocol design, platform configuration, data collection, and structured output delivery — so research teams focus on interpretation and policy translation.
