Phasmatic

PHASMATIC (PHA) was founded in 10/2022 and is a 3D graphics-focused company located in Corfu & Athens, Greece. Phasmatic was created as a result of more than 6 years of intense R&D in the Computer Graphics Group of Athens University of Economics Business (CGG/AUEB).

Although the company has a relatively short history, Phasmatic has a long track record of successfully managing and executing research and development projects at national and European levels. Strong and fruitful collaborations with the industrial sector have also been achieved acting as a vehicle to enhance innovation and to deliver services through commercialised knowledge and technology transfer. Our mission is to develop world-leading software solutions to help brands enrich visual user experiences with cutting-edge 3D & AI photorealistic technology. We believe that photorealistic and high-performance visualization of 3D data is the next milestone for the Web & XR.

As a company we are heavily investing in 3D object reconstruction (e.g. physical to virtual), 3D asset processing (compression) and realistic XR experiences.

Phasmatic, currently incubated in Nvidia Inception program & Google Cloud for Startups, is also an active member of the Khronos Group & Metaverse Standard Forum fostering the development of 3D/XR open standards. We also have specialised entrepreneurial guidance from ACEin and Th.E.A. The company is a GRECA member having access to key insights of the Greek e-Commerce market. Our team possesses an unwavering passion about 3D computer graphics, AI, multimedia, XR with each member having a level of expertise and knowledge at doctoral level and beyond in this field. Collectively they possess experience from a wide array of scientific fields and industry-level project development.
