About

TUNTU is a multisensory technology and spatial concept that creates immersive environments designed to improve human wellbeing, recovery, focus, and experience. Instead of treating sound, light, visuals, and space as separate elements, TUNTU brings them together into one holistic, controllable system that transforms ordinary rooms into purpose-driven environments.

At the core of TUNTU is the idea that space affects how people feel, behave, and perform. By carefully shaping sensory inputs—what we hear, see, and sense—TUNTU creates environments that can calm the nervous system, reduce stress, support concentration, or enhance experiential impact depending on the use case.

TUNTU environments are built around a central control system that manages sound, lighting, visual content, and, when needed, scent. These elements can be adjusted in real time or pre-programmed into different modes depending on the situation—such as relaxation, recovery, focus, or activation.

A key part of TUNTU’s technology is its invisible sound system. Almost any material walls, ceilings, furniture, or architectural elements can be turned into a high-quality speaker. This allows sound to be distributed evenly throughout a space without visible hardware, preserving design integrity while creating a deeply immersive audio experience.

UNTU is already being used across a wide range of environments:

  • Healthcare & Care Environments: Supporting patient recovery, reducing stress and anxiety, and improving comfort in hospitals and care homes.

  • Education: Helping neurodivergent children and students regulate, focus, and recover during the day.

  • Workplaces: Creating wellbeing and recovery spaces that improve employee focus, reduce burnout, and support sustainable performance.

  • Hospitality & Wellness: Enhancing guest experience in hotels, spas, and premium environments.

  • Events & Public Spaces: Creating memorable, emotionally engaging environments.

  • Design & Luxury Applications: Including yachts, showrooms, and future automotive and residential concepts.

TUNTU has been piloted extensively with public-sector partners, including the City of Helsinki, where results have shown measurable positive impacts on wellbeing in hospitals, care homes, and educational settings. These pilots have validated that multisensory environments can meaningfully support recovery, stress reduction, and emotional regulation.
