HyLight

HyLight develops unmanned, electric-powered airships designed for long-range (upto 350kms), zero-emission inspection of critical energy infrastructure such as transmission and distribution powerlines/pipelines and railway lines. Operating beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS), HyLight’s UAV airships combine helicopter-scale coverage with drone-level precision, enabling utilities to monitor entire grid corridors efficiently and safely.

Each mission integrates multi-sensor payloads including LiDAR, high-resolution RGB imagery, and thermal sensors to deliver centimeter-to-millimeter-level, GIS-ready data in a single pass, which allows utilities to detect vegetation encroachment, structural anomalies, and thermal risks early, supporting predictive maintenance, grid resilience, and data-driven planning decisions.

HyLight operates under an inspection-as-a-service model, removing the need for utilities to own hardware, manage pilots, or handle regulatory approvals.
