With a fleet comprising 446 passenger aircraft and 23 freighters, it provides air cargo services to more than 340 destinations globally. Aiming to make Istanbul the world’s air logistics hub, Turkish Cargo plans to operate direct flights to 150 destinations by 2033 and double its carried tonnage.
With the opening of the Mega Hub at Istanbul Airport, Turkey has become a new pillar for global air traffic. Turkish Cargo’s Mega Hub, SMARTIST, which is also the world’s logistics center, will have a cargo sorting capacity of 4.5 million tons annually upon the completion of the second phase, covering an area of 340,000 square meters.
