Embassy of Japan in Austria

The Embassy of Japan in Austria is responsible for strengthening and maintaining the close diplomatic relations between Japan and Austria. As Japan’s diplomatic representation in Austria, the Embassy also handles relations with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), where Japan has been an Asian Partner for Co-operation since 1992. In close cooperation with other Japan-related institutions, the Embassy promotes Japan’s interests and supports Japanese citizens living in or visiting Austria.
