Latvian Council of Science (LZP)

The purpose of the Latvian Council of Science is to implement the state science and technology development policy by ensuring the implementation of research programs and projects financed from the state budget, as well as the European Union structural funds and other foreign financial instruments. The Council administers the financial resources, monitors scientific activities and the implementation of projects. One of the most important goals is to promote data-driven decision making.
