The University of Rijeka, Faculty of Civil Engineering provides education and training in civil engineering and related technical and natural science disciplines, with emphasis on the integration of scientific work and higher education. The faculty aims to promote the civil engineering profession and raise awareness of its importance for sustainable development. It also upholds academic principles and values and contributes to the development of the city, the Republic of Croatia and the European Union. The University of Rijeka, Faculty of Civil Engineering actively contributes to the advancement of knowledge in civil engineering and related scientific disciplines by promoting synergies with higher education and supporting lifelong learning. The faculty collaborates with other university components to promote expertise, creativity and social responsibility among its staff and students. In addition, UNIRI-FCE seeks to establish partnerships with public institutions and business enterprises and actively participates in international cooperation and mobility programs (ERASMUS, CEEPUS) to engage in European research and higher education initiatives.
