Conceptual model extraction from natural language text

Assistant Professor at Utrecht University

Utrecht, Netherlands

About

My research investigates how AI, particularly large language models, can assist in generating and extracting conceptual models from natural language. Recent work includes using instruction-tuned LLMs to produce domain models and BPMN process models, and systematically comparing large and small language models for domain model extraction. I am interested in supervising doctoral research that further explores the intersection of AI-generated models, model quality, and human-in-the-loop validation.
