EEG and Eye-tracking in lanagueg studies

PhD student at Bar-Ilan University

Beer Sheva Israel, Israel

About

My research uses EEG and eye-tracking methodologies to investigate the cognitive mechanisms underlying language processing and acquisition. The research focuses on how speakers process morphosyntactic information, including case marking, definiteness, and word order, and how these processes develop in children, adults and differ across monolingual and bilingual populations.

Combining behavioral measures, eye-tracking paradigms, and electrophysiological (ERP) techniques, my research examines the temporal dynamics of language comprehension and the interaction between linguistic cues during sentence processing. Particular attention is given to Hebrew as a case study, exploring how learners and adult speakers integrate morphosyntactic and discourse-related information, as well as how bilingual experience shapes language processing strategies.
