About

I have secured over $3M in research funding as PI and Co-PI through NSERC Discovery, Alliance, CREATE, Mitacs, IBM Quantum Credits, and other competitive programs.

I currently serve as a Co-PI on two NSERC CREATE initiatives: SMART (Smart Mobility Advanced Research & Training) [2024–2030] ($1.65M) and GMD-MSTI (Geomagnetic Disturbance in Modern Societies and Technological Infrastructures) [2025–2031] ($1.65M).

My research focuses on developing trustworthy AI solutions for wireless sensing, localization, and communications; advancing 5G/6G network resource and mobility management; enabling integrated wireless sensing and communications; and designing energy-efficient solutions for connected and autonomous vehicles. These directions align closely with Horizon Europe priorities and emphasize both fundamental innovation and real-world impact. My research portfolio includes 1 book, 81 journal publications, 38 conference papers, 7 book chapters, and 2 technical reports. I have supervised over 25 HQPs, many of whom have received prestigious national and institutional awards, reflecting the strong impact of my mentorship.
