Maria Lewander

Project manager, systems ecologist, journalist, communicator and graphic designer. Passionate about promoting science to larger target groups with focus on increased knowledge and awareness about and for the ocean. I enjoy strategic collaborations with both national and international contacts. Worked on assignments for e.g. the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management, and the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation. Now I work as project leader and communications officer at the Swedish Institute for the Marine Environment, with a special focus on ocean literacy.
