Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track Researcher, RTT) at the University of Trieste, specializing in computational fluid dynamics.
About me
I studied mathematics in Rome and obtained my PhD in Earth Sciences and Fluid Mechanics at the University of Trieste in 2018. My doctoral work focused on numerical modeling for acoustics and cavitation. Currently, my research is centered on developing numerical models for flow induced noise, sound maps modeling and multiphase flows, with a dual emphasis on both fundamental and applied aspects. Practical challenges I'm currently dealing with such as underwater noise and cavitating flows in ship propulsion systems and hydraulic devices.
