About me
Laurent Delauney is working at Ifremer Centre de Bretagne for 27 years on in-situ monitoring systems (1993 - up to now).
Laurent Delauney is the coordinator of the ESFRI Roadmap application of JERICO (Joint European Research Infrastructure for Coastal Observation).
Originally, since 1993, Laurent Delauney’s fields of interest are sensors development for coastal autonomous monitoring stations and seabed observatories, biofouling protection for marine in situ sensors and transfert from research to PMEs of marine sensors developments. Laurent Delauney participated to many Eu Projects like ESONET, EMSO, HYPOX, JERICO-FP7, NeXOS, JERICO-NEXT, ENVRI+ and AtlantOS to diffuse to the EU community Best Practices in metrology, antifouling technics for oceanographic sensors autonomous monitoring systems and general strategy on autonomous monitoring for coastal and deep sea. Laurent Delauney was member of the steering committees of the EU projects NeXOS and JERICO-NEXT. He is as well co-leader of the Technical Innovation (Theme 1) of the ENVRI+ project. Recently, Laurent Delauney was the coordinator of the EU projects JERICO-S3 and JERICO-DS 'Design Study), is the chair of the EOOS Operation Committee and of the EuroGOOS Technological plan Working Group.
