Antico Convicino has decided to revolutionize the concept of the classic accommodation; it offers  services  like a big hotel but at the same time the hospitality and care of the person that only a small structure can give.
We are located in the historic center of the ancient city, in the heart of Sasso Caveoso.
Our rooms are unique,  they are located inside the caves that once housed the ancient  families of Matera. 
Now they are furnished and equipped with all modern comforts; the  combination between  old and modern make a harmony that does not leave indifferent.
The structure consists of 10 rooms. They are differente each other and each has a own peculiarity.
The cave spa with jacuzzi, relaxing shower and sauna is a unique romantic and special moment to regenerate mind and body.
