Dorbolò is a family-owned bakery company based in the Natisone Valleys, in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Northern Italy.

For over seventy years, our family has been dedicated to preserving and promoting Gubana, one of the most iconic traditional desserts of the region. Founded by our grandmother and later developed by Franco Dorbolò, a pioneer in the modernization of Gubana production, the company has become a reference point for this unique specialty while maintaining its artisanal roots.

Today, Dorbolò combines tradition, innovation and craftsmanship, producing premium baked goods that celebrate the authentic flavors of our territory.

Our Signature Product: Gubana

Gubana is a traditional spiral-shaped sweet bread filled with a rich blend of dried fruits, nuts, raisins, citrus peel and spices.

Originally prepared for celebrations and special occasions in the Natisone Valleys, Gubana represents a centuries-old culinary heritage and is recognized as one of Friuli Venezia Giulia’s most distinctive specialties.
