About
Pugliarella was born from the Ciavarella family, in San Severo, Puglia, from a bond with the land that has been passed down through generations.
Our story began in the early 1900s, when grandfather Giuseppe started cultivating the fields with passion and sacrifice. Since then, that connection with the land has never been broken. In 1985, Michele carried this tradition forward by creating a family-run agricultural business, founded on daily work, care for the land, and respect for the territory.
Today, through the Pugliarella brand, this story has reached the transformation of the raw materials grown on our own land. We follow a short and controlled supply chain, from the field to the finished product, to enhance what we produce directly on our farm.
From here come our pasta, made using artisanal methods, bronze-drawn and slowly dried at low temperatures, and our extra virgin olive oil from peranzana olives, cold-extracted and processed within just a few hours of the olive harvest.
We are also developing a new wine project through the construction of our own winery, with the aim of further enhancing our territory and giving new value to the grapes grown on our land.
Every Pugliarella product tells the story of our land, our family’s work, and the agricultural identity of San Severo: flavors born from what we cultivate every day.
