Restivo Wine

Restivo Wine is a premium wine estate on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, between Castiglione di Sicilia and Randazzo, with vineyards ranging from 600 to 900 meters above sea level on porous, mineral-rich volcanic soils.

The estate works across seven key crus – Calderara, Feudo di Mezzo, Arcurìa, Mille Cocchita,Allegracore, Pietra Marina, Verzella and Barbabecchi – each offering a distinct expression of Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio and Carricante thanks to differences in altitude, exposure and lava-derived soil structure.

Our production philosophy is focused on precision viticulture and terroir transparency: high-density alberello, tailored pruning (guyot and alberello, depending on the parcel) and an integrated, sustainable approach in the vineyard aimed at preserving biodiversity and long-term soil health.

The goal is to produce wines that combine elegance, clarity of fruit and marked volcanic minerality, offering a recognisable Etna identity for the international on-trade and fine wine retail.

The range includes Etna DOC white, rosé and red wines, as well as single-vineyard cru bottlings from selected contrade, positioned in the premium segment for wine bars, fine dining restaurants and specialised importers.
