High Tech NL – Semiconductor Cluster

High Tech NL is the leading industry association for the Dutch high-tech sector, connecting companies, knowledge institutes, universities, and government organizations to strengthen innovation and international competitiveness.

The High Tech NL Semiconductor Cluster represents the Dutch semiconductor ecosystem across the entire value chain—from materials, equipment, and manufacturing technologies to chip design, packaging, photonics, and quantum technologies. Our members include global technology leaders, innovative SMEs, start-ups, scale-ups, research institutes, and universities working together to accelerate technological development and create new business opportunities.

We stimulate collaboration by developing innovation programs, facilitating public-private partnerships, organizing international trade missions, conferences, matchmaking events, and supporting companies in accessing international markets. Together with partners such as the Dutch government, RVO, regional development agencies, embassies, and international organizations, we help position the Netherlands as one of the world's leading semiconductor ecosystems.

Our international activities focus on building long-term strategic partnerships in key semiconductor markets, including Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, India, Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America. Through initiatives such as Netherlands Pavilions at leading semiconductor exhibitions, Partners for International Business (PIB) programs, and Strategic Multiannual Market (SMM) programs, we create opportunities for Dutch companies to expand internationally and establish sustainable collaborations.

The Dutch semiconductor ecosystem is globally recognized for its expertise in semiconductor equipment, advanced manufacturing, heterogeneous integration, photonics, metrology, AI hardware, quantum technologies, advanced packaging, and system integration. By bringing together industry, research, and government, High Tech NL enables innovation, knowledge exchange, and international business development for the next generation of semiconductor technologies.
