The Energy Research Office (EPE) supports the Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) in the formulation of energy policies through studies and research covering electricity, oil, natural gas, and biofuels. Its work integrates engineering, economics, modeling, policy, and environmental perspectives, contributing to comprehensive energy planning and the development of the national energy sector. EPE has a multidisciplinary team of approximately 350 professionals, most of whom hold advanced academic degrees.
My work focuses on biofuels in the Brazilian landscape, and I am particularly interested in exchanging perspectives on SAF and biomethane with experts from different regions.
