ChemXpro is an independent process engineering and consultancy firm helping technology developers and project owners in the biobased, circular, chemical, food, and energy sectors scale up and industrialise their processes. Based in the Netherlands, we operate across NW-Europe.

We don't just execute — we challenge. When a client brings us a problem, we question assumptions, explore alternatives, and engineer a solution that addresses the root cause, not the symptom. That rigour is what makes the difference between a plant that works on paper and one that runs at scale.

We provide hands-on engineering services across the full project lifecycle: process and technology development, including lab-to-pilot-to-plant scale-up, technology screening, and techno-economic evaluation; conceptual, basic, and detail engineering design, delivering bankable, EPC-ready engineering packages; process safety studies, including HAZOP, LOPA, SIL classification, and ATEX compliance; and Owner's Engineering and client representation, safeguarding your interests during FEED, EPC, construction, and commissioning.

Our flexible engineering cells scale with your project: you get senior process engineers, not a project management overhead layer. We embed in your team, work on your site, and stay until the plant runs.

We are fully independent: we sell no equipment, push no proprietary technology, and all IP remains with our clients. We engineer the right solution and make it work in your plant.

Our relevant experience includes FOAK biopolymer plants, chemical recycling (FEED and Owner's Engineering at €35M–€85M CAPEX), waste-to-chemicals facility revamps, biobased resin processing, and large-scale pyrolysis (>100 kta).
