THE COMPANY

UBT SRL (Umbria Bioengineering Technologies, www.ubt-tech.com), an Italian Benefit Company with Subsidiary in London (UK), is an innovative biomedical Start Up founded as academic Spin Off of the University of Perugia (Physics Department) with the aim of developing medical imaging devices based on safe microwaves instead of dangerous ionizing radiation (x-rays). UBT's microwave imaging technology achieves the accuracy of x-rays without the risks and limitations associated with ionizing radiations.

 THE MISSION

Our mission is to establish our innovative microwave technique as the new standard in medical imaging applications. We envision a near future where microwave-based medical imaging devices can provide better, safer and more inclusive care at lower costs to patients, healthcare providers, and healthcare systems In Europe.

The 1st Device we developed is MammoWave® (TRL 9): a novel device for breast lesions detection (nowentering the Market) Due to the lack of harmful radiations and superior performance in dense breasts typical of young women, MammoWave® is already primed to win the sizable and currently untapped market representedby women in the age range < 45-49
