Inside Patent Management provides experienced, business-focused Intellectual Property leadership to science-driven companies without requiring them to build a full in-house IP function.

Inside Patent Management typically works alongside a company’s existing patent attorneys and law firms rather than replacing them. We serve as an experienced IP resource on the company side—helping leadership identify what should be protected, establish priorities, make informed decisions about where and when to invest in patent protection, and ensure that outside counsel’s work supports the company’s broader business objectives.

We also help companies prepare their intellectual property for important business events. This may include assessing a portfolio before fundraising or partnering discussions, identifying potential gaps or risks before due diligence, evaluating IP through the perspective of a prospective investor or commercial partner, and developing strategies to strengthen the company’s position.
