Hynnova is an Italian digital health company and Società Benefit helping healthcare organisations turn operational complexity into better services for patients and better working conditions for professionals.

HSB | Intelligent patient transport management

Patient transport is essential to the delivery of care. Delays and poor coordination can disrupt appointments, admissions and discharges, affecting patients and the productivity of healthcare facilities.

HSB – Hynnova Smart Booking – supports the entire non-emergency patient transport process through a shared platform connecting healthcare facilities, coordination teams, transport providers and vehicle crews.

From requests and scheduling to execution monitoring and reporting, HSB provides a coordinated, traceable workflow. Its optimisation algorithms match transport requirements with vehicle availability and suitability, supporting better fleet utilisation and more efficient allocation of services.

HSB supports both incremental scheduling, assigning requests as they arrive, and batch scheduling, optimising groups of requests together. A dedicated crew app, real-time monitoring and dynamic rescheduling help teams respond to delays and unexpected changes throughout the day.

For healthcare organisations, this means greater operational visibility, less manual coordination and stronger control over resource use and costs. For patients, the aim is more reliable transport and smoother access to care. HSB is already used in Italian healthcare settings, including the inter-hospital transport network of ASL Alessandria.

HyDRO | Intelligent healthcare workforce planning

Ensuring that the right professionals are available where and when they are needed is one of healthcare’s most demanding organisational challenges.

HyDRO supports the automatic generation and optimisation of staff schedules, considering service coverage, professional skills, staff availability, working-time rules, contractual requirements, rest periods, leave and individual preferences.

By handling these requirements together, HyDRO helps planners build feasible schedules and balance organisational needs with the needs of healthcare professionals. It also supports the comparison of different organisational configurations, helping managers understand their planning options.

The objective is to reduce the time and complexity involved in scheduling, distribute workloads more fairly and support continuity of services. HyDRO gives healthcare organisations a practical tool for addressing workforce constraints while paying attention to staff wellbeing.

Available as a Software-as-a-Service platform, HyDRO is already used under service contracts at ASL Avellino and ASST Rhodense. Hynnova was also selected for the “Digital innovations to battle the health workforce crisis” challenge within UNITE – European Digital Health Valleys, coordinated by 28DIGITAL.
