About
Cancer immunotherapy has transformed the treatment of several tumors, but many aggressive cancers still lack effective therapeutic options to prevent disease progression, relapse and metastatic dissemination.
We are developing a new immunotherapeutic approach targeting CSPG4, a clinically relevant tumor-associated antigen, functionally associated with tumor growth, invasion and therapy resistance and highly expressed in canine and human cancers, but not in healthy tissues.
Our proprietary HuDo-CSPG4 chimeric DNA vaccine is designed to overcome immune tolerance and activate both antibody and T-cell responses against CSPG4-positive tumor cells.
The technology has already shown promising safety, immunogenicity and clinical signals in canine melanoma and osteosarcoma patients, while preclinical studies provide evidence supporting its translation to human cancer.
Our strategy is Veterinary First, Human Next: spontaneous canine tumors represent the first clinical development opportunity, enabling us to generate a robust proof-of-concept while building a commercially valuable asset before expanding into human oncology.
We are now looking for the right industrial and financial partners to transform this academic technology into a biotech company and advance the first product toward clinical development.”
