Targeted Wire-Guided Thoracic Drainage System with Curved Chest Tube Design
Business Development Manager at STEP RI d.o.o.
Rijeka, Croatia
About
The technology is an innovative targeted wire-guided chest tube placement system incorporating a curved design to facilitate controlled and accurate positioning of a thoracic drain within the pleural cavity. The concept was developed to address an important limitation of conventional chest tube insertion.
The system enables the chest tube to be guided toward a predefined target location using a wire-guided approach and a curved dilator/tube configuration. The design is intended to provide greater control over the direction and final positioning of the drain.
We are seeking a medical device manufacturer or strategic industry partner with the capabilities and market access required to bring the technology to market.
The preferred cooperation model is licensing of the technology, with the industrial partner taking responsibility for further product development, regulatory activities, manufacturing, commercialization, and distribution.
