About

Honeydew honey is a rare and valuable type of honey, obtained not from flower nectar but from the sap of trees (fir, spruce, oak). It has a dark color, an intense, slightly caramelized taste, and a high content of minerals and antioxidants. It is recommended for strengthening immunity and boosting vitality.

Honeydew Honey – the Forest’s Gold 🌲🍯

Honeydew honey is one of the rarest and most valuable types of honey. Unlike floral honey, it does not come from flower nectar but from the sap and sweet secretions of trees (fir, spruce, oak, ash) or from insects that feed on their sap.

🔸 Appearance & Taste:

  • dark color (brown, sometimes almost black), with greenish or reddish hues;

  • intense flavor, less sweet than classic honey, with slightly caramelized or malty notes;

  • strong “forest-like” aroma, making it distinctive and highly appreciated.

🔸 Composition:

  • contains fewer simple sugars than floral honey but is very rich in minerals (potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus);

  • high content of antioxidants and rare trace elements;

  • less prone to crystallization.

🔸 Health Benefits:

  • supports the immune system thanks to its high mineral and polyphenol content;

  • recommended for anemia, physical or mental effort;

  • antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties;

  • supports respiratory and digestive health.
